BRUGES September 3, 2022April 25, 2023MARKT SQUARESo I woke up with this question looming in my mind, “What will riding some unfamiliar transportation vehicle of sorts, traveling through a “CHUNNEL” (in a tunnel under the English Channel) to get from London to Belgium feel like??? I might have had a mild case of “angst” when we boarded the EUROSTAR at St. Pancras in London. . .But honestly, no nerves necessary. Though I had to think twice about the whole “under-water” part of our transportation which did cause a bit of pause, it was completely pleasant and enjoyable. In anticipating this massive under-taking to see lots of Great Britain and Europe, I was convinced that there would be some discomfort here and there. As it turns out, being mildly out of my comfort zone at times has been good. And so. . .through the tunnel we went!We had a short stay in Brussels before boarding for Bruges, Belgium. SO EXCITED! What a lovely, quaint charming village-town! We will be visiting the Chocolate Museum and may try to get signed up for one of their chocolate classes (yummo).
